Mac, who has one?
I use a Mac Mini. Got one because I was sick of windows pc's always crashing and needing updates and new drivers etc.
So ended up with a Mac Mini as that was the cheapest option (apart from second hand, and still not that cheap:o )as I had never used/seen a Mac before.
All I can say is WOW. A few teething problems at first, mainly operator error, but absolutely faultless from then.
I get the odd messenger for mac crash but thats about it really.

From what I have seen of Vista its trying to be MAC OSX sooo hard, but fails. I think the Vista Ultimate is very nearly there, but the home basic has a long way to go. Basic is what it is.Metal wrote:My mate has one, messed around with his a bit. I do like the interface, but personally i'll stick with my vista pc

Re: Mac, who has one?
My friend also has one, he needs it for graphic design.
It does look the secks and is quick, i know that MAC's aim for no slowdown unlike how PC's eventualy get.
They are defiantly more advanced in areas where PC lack. but unless i needed one for a real reason. then a PC is all i need, microsoft word and internet. end of...for me anyway. (Thats not to take anything away from MAC owners)
They are very swish and smooth running, they know how to do things in style.

i have a MAC
Hi guys i have a mac mini for my media design n graphic design.
I'm gettin a laptop for my radio stuff but i like mac's because its easier and smoother (not because i have had one for 4 years doin media etc) but compared to my families PC which has window's XP it just seems easier to run.
Like the other day i had a problem with my mac and i got some free software with my mac purchase and that software searched my hard drive n found the problem and cleared it completely off my mac. Now its running smooth again.

Could do with something to do a search for problems, not that I imagine there will be any problems
