Opinions on the new Gears of War 2 video. - UPDATED W/ NEW EXECUTION

Hey. Just wondering what everybody thought of the new gameplay video for Gears of War 2. The graphics seem much better and the chainsaw duelling looks so fun lol. Feel free to say what you liked best etc.

I think from what we saw it looks good, Its shaping up well. Remember its a sequal so dont expect a whole overhall.

Bring on Novemeber.

It wasn't too much shown, but i was generally pleased.

Showing the new capabilities of the Unreal 3 Engine. Like hooded said, and what we said on the podcast, we cant expect a totally NEW looking game bcos its a sequal to a game previously released on the game ganeration console.

But as long as it is polished up a bit more, with a new story and tweaked multiplayer i will be very excited!

Hope the story is as good as the first one or better ive got high hopes for this game and the multiplayer the main thing I want to see is a good ranking system, some more players would be good too. Oh and matching making (with friends)thats at the top of my list!!!!!!!! lol

I think it looks awesome. More colourful (not sure why the first had to be so colourless), more baddies to kill and some new kill moves.
4 player drop in\out co-op(I think) makes this game one of the best games this year in my opinion.

I like the look of the new machine gun Marcus is using. Not too sure about the automatic pistol though...

Also i read in OXM, they are getting rid of the "Forced Walking" sections that masked loading times.

I wasn't a fan of GOW online, but i loved the single player, so I'm looking forward to playing GOW2

I think what some Epic think is that everyone used to love off the chainsaw in Gears 1 but the fact of the matter is it was crap and i used to play the game alot and hardly ever used it it was all about shotguns and snipers. the weapon balencing was pretty good in Gears 1 aswell. but i did think that if they include some of the gp mechanics in the multiplayer the game could be alot better.

4v4 was great when you think about how good the graphics are in that game with say 16 people online all fighting in one spot with shotguns. christ even raven down had a few frame rate issues.. and the size of the maps suit 4v4 also no offence only people who suck at the game moan about host,
